Oklahoma City Fire Department officials told KOCO 5 that an excavator hit a gas line in the 5200 block of Classen Circle, which is near Northwest 50th Street and Western Avenue. The nearby Sleep Inn and Suites has been evacuated while crews work to cut off the gas.
Oklahoma Natural Gas crews are headed to the scene, according to fire department officials.

It's unknown how long the hotel will be evacuated.
