Jamestown Fire Department responds to natural gas line being struck - Jamestown Sun | News, weather, sports from Jamestown North Dakota

JAMESTOWN — The Jamestown Fire Department responded to a report of a natural gas line being struck on Tuesday, Nov. 12, said Mark Chapin, inspections for JFD.

The department was dispatched at about 10:50 a.m. to 1613 6th Ave. NE.

Chapin said a company was installing a fence when the line was struck.

Two units and 17 firefighters responded and were on standby at the scene until Montana-Dakota Utilities came to cap off the line, Chapin said.

They cleared the scene at 11:36 a.m. and there were no injuries.
